Carbon Off

CARBON OFF is a unique blend of solvents, acids and penetrating agents, all having an affinity to carbon, grease, fat, paint and other carbonaceous matter.

DIRECTIONS

  • Soak Tank

    Use as supplied.  Prepare a soak tank for dipping.

  • Quantity

    Pour sufficient CARBON OFF to cover the item to be cleaned into the tank.

  • Attach wire

    Attach a piece of wire to the item and hang over the edge of the container to facilitate easy withdrawal.

  • Soak

    Allow to soak until carbon is loose enough to be washed off with clean water.

    The time will vary depending on the carbon buildup.

  • Storage

    Store in a cool dry area.  Do not store in direct sunlight.   When not in use keep the container tightly sealed.

SAFETY

CARBON OFF is safe on all metals but may attack some plastics.

Open container carefully as contents may be under pressure.

Use in a well-ventilated area.  Over exposure to the vapour may cause headaches.

Use gloves and protect the eyes.

Keep out of direct light.

Skin:         Wash immediately with soap and water. Wash again with alcohol or aftershave lotion.

Eyes:         Wash with a 5% Bicarb solution or flush for 15 minutes with running water.   Get medical attention.

Ingestion:    DO NOT induce vomiting. Drink egg white or milk. Seek medical attention.

Inhalation:  Remove to fresh air.
